Launch Event: The People Centred Economy - Freeformers

Launch Event: The People Centred Economy

Are you aware of the importance and impact of people being at the heart of your organisation’s digital transformation project?

To celebrate the launch of new book ‘The People Centred Economy – The New Ecosystem for Work’, Freeformers would like to invite you to the exclusive European launch event, to hear from contributing author Gi Fernando, MBE.

The People Centred Economy, published by the iiij foundation, discusses a new framework for businesses and nations where the economy is becoming driven by the “ecosystem for jobs”, an ecosystem that uses AI to innovate new ways for individuals to earn a better, more meaningful livelihood. The brainchild of Vint Cerf (Internet Pioneer and ‘Father of the Internet’) and David Nordfors (Executive Director of the Centre for Innovation and Communication at Stanford University), the book explores how meaningful work lies at the heart of every successful economy.

Each chapter contains views from the agents of this new ecosystem for jobs – entrepreneurs, investors, corporate executives, politicians, philanthropists and economists. Gi Fernando, founder of Freeformers, will discuss his thoughts on the chapter, ‘Banks – at the heart of the people centred economy.’

You will also hear from Freeformers’ client Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banking Group (CYBG), and how they focused on getting the people part of their digital transformation right, to the benefit of both their staff and their business.

By understanding both the theory and how it can be put into practice, we expect you to leave better informed about people driven transformation – what it means, the benefits to your business, how to start the process of delivering it, and how to measure its impact.

Breakfast and networking included before and after the session.
