We believe that everyone must be given the same opportunity to adapt to change and that great success comes from individuals as well as an organisation as a whole. Our programmes allow us to build a network of champions inside of your organisation.
We have been committed to making social impact for young people aged 16-24 ever since we launched in 2012.
For every champion we train within your organisation, we also train a young person in the community for free by helping them prepare for the future of work. Through online learning and live events we've made a difference to over 4,235 young people, and we aim to do so much more. We call this our one_for1 initiative.
We envision a global economy that uses business as a force for good. This economy is comprised of a new type of corporation - the B Corporation - which is purpose-driven and creates benefit for all stakeholders, not just shareholders.
As B Corporations and leaders of this emerging economy, we believe
that we must be the change we seek in the world.
That all business ought to be conducted as if people and place mattered.
That, through their products, practices and profits, businesses should aspire to do no harm and benefit all.
To do so requires that we act with the understanding that we are each dependent upon another and thus responsible for each other and future generations.
Concern about the UK’s skills gap and the impact this has on scaleup ambitions remains stubbornly the major issue for the leaders of fast-growing business.
For the fifth consecutive year in the Scaleup Survey, the challenge to find and develop the right talent and skills is viewed by scaleup leaders as the single most significant barrier to growth.
Tackling this challenge and building a national pipeline of talent and modern skills remains a priority which will only be solved if the ecosystem works collaboratively together to address it.
