Freeformers is a workforce technology and transformation company. Our mission is to build a digital economy for all by creating the future workforce now.
We take a fresh approach to the mindset, skillset and behaviours standards people need to be successful amid the fast-moving changes to technology, learning, consumer demands and business purpose.
Based in London, we work globally across a range of sectors including Financial Services, Retail, Utilities and Media with our Transformation services based on our Future Workforce Model; focused on key attributes of Self, Approach, Communication and Technology including elements such as empathy and confidence alongside hard skills. To date, we have been able to affect change among more than 40,000 frontline staff in 12 countries and change the way CEOs and C-Suites think of, and adapt to, digital change.
Our team of 50 is made up of people from across the globe and ranges in age from the early 20s to late 50s - fuelled by a diversity of experiences, educations and backgrounds. We also have a large network of accredited associates and partners to draw on.
Freeformers was founded in 2012 by Gi Fernando MBE and friend Emma Cerrone. Both still run the business alongside Adam Freeman (now co founder) and COO Howard Davies, supported by Chairman Sir Anthony Salz and a board of non-execs including Baroness Beeban Kidron, a leading humanitarian voice for childhood digital rights, Marek Gumienny, a successful private equity veteran and social impact investor and Alan Turner, an engineer and entrepreneur who helped Gi conceive the initial idea for Freeformers.
Freeformers is a profit and purpose company dedicated to making a social impact. Its one_for1 model ensures less advantaged young people gain the same mindset, skillset and behaviours as corporate clients for free. Our new charity, The Freeformers Foundation is also working to create partnerships, develop continued learning programmes and unearth job opportunities for young people as Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Blockchain and other technologies change the face of the future of work. The Freeformers Foundation and one_for1 aim to boost the available talent pool with a greater mix of diversity; of age, thought, knowledge, education and home life.
Freeformers has a strong values culture and has an organisational structure dedicated to clear outputs and personal autonomy. Our five values are:
- Helping people be the best they can be
- Diversity is our superpower
- How we solve a problem is as important as the answer itself
- We think big but the next hour counts
- Fail fast and learn even faster
As the Fourth Industrial Revolution gathers pace, Freeformers is working to enable clients and young people keep pace with new technologies and reduces the fear around them. We are changing the assessment of what 'good' looks like, reducing traditional dependence on CVs and focusing on real-time and historic data to continually measure progress through our own proprietary tools to demonstrate tangible successes and outcomes.
